The US Constitution DOES NOT guarantee "equal rights," or that everyone is "equal;" you will find that NO WHERE in the Constitution. IT DOES, however, guarantee that everyone in the United States is EQUAL UNDER THE LAW (14th Amendment), that is to say that a LAW applies equally to everyone it affects. If the LAW in a state defines a marriage as ONE MAN and ONE WOMEN, all men and women UNDER THAT LAW are equal under it.

I have no problems with gays want to united, enjoy their relationship,  and receive the legal benefits the heterosexual couples do,  but do not use 'MARRIAGE'  to represent their legal relationship.  Words have meaning.  Marriage is a man and a woman united, like just a fastener is a bolt and a nut screwed together.  Two bolts or two nuts together do not and can not  become a fastener.  And we do not call it a fastener.

Let us find or create a name that is comparable to  marriage for gays so we can preserve the word 'MARRIAGE'.

Homosexuals are living in a sad blinding sick delusion. It doesn't matter what the High Court rules either way; two men, or two women, CANNOT marry any more than Bruce Jenner can be a women. It is simply not possible, not anymore than mixing sulfur in water. A marriage, by just basic biology and the make up of human beings, is only possible between a male and a female. And, NO, the Supreme Court DID NOT rule that the US Constitution guarantees any right at all to same sex marriage. The High Court ruled that Same Sex Marriage does not violate the US Constitution. Homosexual propaganda (the lying machine) is already at work trying to convince the public that the High Court "officially legalized same sex marriage." It has NOT. It has stated that, even though inaccurately, that the US Constitution does not prohibit same sex marriage. 

It Is Not Marriage, and can never be marriage...

Calling something marriage does not make it marriage. Marriage has always been a covenant between a man and a woman which is by its nature ordered toward the procreation and education of children and the unity and wellbeing of the spouses.

The promoters of same-sex “marriage” propose something entirely different. They propose the union between two men or two women. This denies the self-evident biological, physiological, and psychological differences between men and women which find their complementarity in marriage. It also denies the specific primary purpose of marriage: the perpetuation of the human race and the raising of children.

Two entirely different things cannot be considered the same thing.

In his dissent, Roberts wrote that the court had taken an "extraordinary step" in deciding not to allow states to decide the issue for themselves, saying that the Constitution DOES NOT define marriage. Calling the ruling "deeply disheartening," Roberts said that those on the winning side of the issue should celebrate a victory — "But do not celebrate the Constitution," he wrote. "It had nothing to do with it."

Amendment XIV, Section 1. - "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Where do you see any "guarantee of same sex marriage" in the 14th Amendment (the Amendment sited by the High Court)? Where do you see same sex marriage referred to as "privileges or immunities?" It CLEARLY states that everyone is EQUAL under the Law; if a state prohibits same sex marriage, everyone in the state is EQUAL under that law, and it therefore applies to everyone in that state.

But, it doesn't matter; so called "same sex marriage" is doing what any fool could have predicted; it is destroying the lives of sodomites en masse', as it can only do;

There is little doubt that the High Court will, in time, over rule this "same sex marriage" nonsense and uphold the reality of a marriage as being solely and obviously between a man and a women.

Let me guess; soon sodomites will demand the right to marry animals? That's next, no doubt.
